Our customers greatly vary in what they think is the best position for the logo (do you want the person holding the glass to see it? Or everybody else? Or do you want it to look best on display before people pick them up?). We can place it wherever you like.

Once we began testing the market, we realized there was an even bigger need for govino in the consumer sector, particularly at settings where breakable glass is an issue. After all, how many times have we all had to endure drinking good wine from bad glasses?

Why does the govino wineglass look and perform like crystal?

It is made from a proprietary, food/pharmaceutical safe PETG, only it is superior in that it reflects the wine's color and aromatics much like crystal.

It is recyclable (#1) but better yet it is reusable and now dishwasher safe!

Tastes: Shatterproof By Robert Taylor From Wine Spectator magazine, September 30, 2008 issue Sometimes it seems as if "new and improved" wineglasses hit the shelves on a weekly basis. But the new govino "go anywhere" wineglass does indeed bring something new to the table. First of all, it's not a wineglass at all - it's made of thermoplastic polymer resin. For those not wearing a lab coat, that's plastic that does not impart any aromas and reflects a liquid's - in this case, wine's - color and aromatics in much the same way as crystal.
